small place on the southern tip of the Istrien peninsula, close to the city of Pula. South of Premantura is

Northwest of Cape Kamenjak and Pula

the northernmost island in the Zadar archipelago and is called the “gate of Dalmatia”. The island has a

bikes during summer. The island offers a handful of small beaches that can be reaches either by foot or boat as well as lots of forest - the island got its name after the copious amount of forests located on the island (the Roman word for forest is Silva).
