The Villa Rainis Hill Top is located in a small village Oprtalj in Central Istria in the middle of unspoiled nature. If you want to explore the area, we definitely recommend a visit to the surrounding towns of Motovun, Groznjan or Buzet, which will enchant you with their beauty. Motovun forest is also worth a visit. Central Istria is known for truffles. So be sure to try the famous Istrian truffle specialities, but also other local delicacies in nearby restaurants and taverns. You will not regret it! If you want to travel to bigger towns, you should definitely visit the towns of Novigrad, Porec or Umag, where you will find beautiful stone beaches with crystal clear sea. These towns offer numerous attractions and entertainment activities, especially in the summer months. If you are looking for an active vacation, you will have a good time in Istria!
