Villa Stancija Vigini is an authentic Istrian property originally built in 1855. This charming old beauty was fully restored in harmony with the surroundings, which is obvious both from the inside as well as from the outside.
Villa Stancija Vigini has 5 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 +1 persons. If you are dreaming of a relaxing vacation amidst untouched nature, this is the villa you should choose - you will not be disappointed. The rooms are distributed over three levels. On the ground floor there is a bedroom and a bathroom, as well as a lounge area with a pool table. On the first floor you will find a cosy living room and a well equipped kitchen with many rustic details and decoration that add to the villa´s charm. On the second floor you will find 3 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both the first as well as from the second floor have a terrace from where you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Istrian countryside. In a separate area there is one additional bedroom and bathroom. This is not all this lovely property has to offer: at your disposal there is also a large private pool outside, as well as a well equipped summer kitchen. Choose one of the lounge areas and enjoy the warm and sunny days. .

Villa Stancija Vigini lies in a village called Makovci located near Groznjan, a town that offers spectacular views across hills blanketed with vineyards, hamlets and farmhouses, and the magical Mirna Valley. Groznjan is a municipality as well as a beautiful medieval town. It is known as “The artist village”. In the warm summer months, the town comes to life and becomes one of the most important cultural centres in Croatia. Numerous galleries as well as ateliers can be found in the town. Every year at the end of July the jazz festival “Jazz is back!” takes place as well as the festival “Ex Tempore” at the end of September, when more than 300 artists from all over Europe gather in the town to exhibit their art works. Central Istria is also famous for local Malvasia and Teran grapes, virgin olive oil, home-made cheeses, prosciutto, barbecued meats, and of course truffles, all of which can be sampled in restaurants within the many villages and towns of the area. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails, one of the most stunning of them being the historical Parenzana.
