If you are looking for an authentic, relaxing vacation in Istria while surrounded by green hills in a rustic villa, this is your right choice. Villa Mikales, renovated in 2022, awaits you and offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms with double beds.
One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor, the remaining three bedrooms are on the first floor. This charming villa combines wooden elements (exposed beams) with old, stone details (especially on the facade of the villa) while being equipped in a modern way to suit your needs. Apart from the bedroom, the ground floor also approves of a cosy living room, an equipped kitchen, a laundry room as well as a separate WC. Please note that there is no official indoor dining area. On the upper floor, you will find the bedrooms - one with a balcony overlooking the pool area, as well as two bathrooms. Do not miss spending time in the big, amazing and tended garden of Villa Mikales. Here you can spend some time together sunbathing and refreshing around the pool or by dining in one of the outdoor eating areas next to the pool or in the garden near the grill fireplace, while the children can enjoy running around or playing on one of the wooden elements of the playground. The villa has a shaded summer kitchen that even offers a TV. You can also play table tennis and unwind in the natural shade of the enchanting garden.
Villa Mikales is located in the small village Cepici on the east part of the Istrian peninsula. The closest towns worth seeing, as well as the beaches, are approximately 7 km away. Visit Rabac and Labin, nice little towns next to or not far away from the seaside, with a rich history but not too many tourists. Labin is a beautiful medieval city located on a hill, offering a stunning view of the old town on the coast - Rabac. Once Rabac was an old fisherman village, today it offers beautiful beaches and excellent fish specialities. If you love to stay active on your holidays, around these cities, there are numerous cycling and walking paths, as well as organized events like gastro bike tours. You get the chance to visit winemaker's family farms and taste vine or just enjoy the amazing combination of mountain forest nature overlooking the blue Adriatic sea.
Der Aufenthalt im Haus von Adriano war fantastisch.
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und auch zwischendurch war Adriano und seine Mutter (die nebenan wohnt) für uns da, wenn wir Fragen hatten.
Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Fenster haben Fliegengitter (zu unserer Zeit gab es leider viele Mücken) um mal durchzulüften.
Der Pool wurde vom Hausherren zweimal wöchentlich gereinigt. Es war alles im Haus, was man braucht.
Wir waren mit zwei Familien mit Kindern da, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
Die nächsten Badegelegenheiten am Meer sind ca. 20-30 Minuten Fahrtzeit zu erreichen.
Es gibt einen Supermarkt in 3 Minuten Fahrtzeit in der Nähe, für den Großeinkauf fährt man ca. 20 Minuten, aber es lässt sich ja gut mit Ausflügen verbinden. Das war für uns überhaupt kein Problem.
Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen. :-)
In June we spent a most enjoyable week at Villa Mikales near Labin and Rabac. We felt welcome right from the beginning. The house is in extremely good shape, spacious and very well equipped. We will always remember the lovely evenings in the terrific outdoor kitchen, the marvellous flowers in the well-kept garden, and the romantic Romeo and Juliet balcony right above the pool. Adriano, our perfect host, gave us the feeling that he would always be there if we needed him. The house is situated in a little village, a quiet and very convenient location, from where we could reach the famous and more hidden beauties of Istria easily.
We can definitely recommend this charming villa, its homely atmosphere and all its comfort. Many thanks to Adriano and his wife for the chance to stay at this special place.

Wir verbrachten eine ganz tolle Woche in dem wunderbaren Haus mit Pool. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Außenküche, in der wir die meiste Zeit verbrachten 😊Aber auch der Garten, der Pool und die Umgebung sind herrlich. Adriano ist ein herzlicher Gastgeber! Jederzeit wieder!!
Was für eine großartige Unterkunft. Der Pool, die Größe des Hauses und des Grundstücks, aber auch die ruhige Lage haben und begeistert. Wir haben tolle zwei Wochen verbracht. Vieles ist in unmittelbarer und absolut akzeptabler Distanz. Die Entfernung zu den verschiedenen Buchten zum Baden sind überhaupt kein Problem.
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und betreut. Adriano ist ein klasse Gastgeber. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und planen schon unseren zweiten Termin in dieser herrlichen Unterkunft. Der Kontakt und die Abwicklung über myistria war stets reibungslos und perfekt. Alles in allem fünf Sterne!
