Lovely stone villa with private pool near Motovun

The charming villa Mamma Mia is the ideal choice for everyone who wants to relax in a peaceful environment. Set on a 1200 m2 large plot, accommodating up to 6 guests in three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, this lovingly restored stone house also has a private pool.

The ground floor consists of a comfortable living room with a SAT TV flat-screen and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. The bedrooms, with king size beds, and bathrooms are located on the first floor. You can relax on the sun loungers by the private pool, enjoy a delicious meal made on the grill or rent a bike and try out the Parenzana track. The orchard and the 50 years old vineyard next to the villa are also at your disposal.

Villa Mamma Mia is located in Oprtalj, a lovely little town in Istria, just 7 km away from the fortified town of Motovun. The captivating hilltop town of Motovun is surely the most famous and attractive Istrian medieval town and one of the characteristic symbols of the Istrian interior. Motovun is known as a town-monument and offers spectacular views across the hills blanketed with vineyards, hamlets and farmhouses, and the magical forested Mirna Valley - the longest river in Istria. Traditional local festivities as well as a renowned international film festival are hosted here, bringing this peaceful little town to life. It is also famous for local Teran and Malvazija grapes, virgin olive oil, home-made cheeses, prosciutto, barbecued meats, and of course white and black truffles, all of which can be sampled in restaurants within the many villages and towns of the area. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails, one of the most stunning of them being the historical Parenzana (only 10 m from the villa), the old railroad route, which today is used by walkers, cyclists, as well as offering a unique ride on a tourist train.

Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne Wochen in der Villa Mamma Mia. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und auch während unseres Aufenthalts war unser Gastgeber jederzeit ansprechbar und zur Stelle, falls es Probleme gab. In der Umgebung kann man viel entdecken und schöne Ausflüge machen. Die Laufnähe zum Ort Oprtalj war auch perfekt. Man hat seine Ruhe und ist ungestört, kann aber dennoch fußläufig einen kleine Supermarkt und ein Restaurant erreichen. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet, besonders gut hat uns die Ausstattung mit Klimaanlagen gefallen und dass jedes Zimmer ein eigenes, modernes Badezimmer hat. Leider hatten wir nicht so viel Glück mit dem Wetter, weswegen wir den eigentlich schönen Pool nicht so oft nutzen konnten. Vielen Dank!

Visiting wineries, eating at the local restaurant is for us what we call vacation. We visited the tourist attractions when we felt like it and could leave the many people again. Miljenko, our host, was very helpful and would do everything for us to have a good holiday. Nice - a holiday you don't want to come home from;-)

We have spent two lovely weeks in Villa Mammamia. Together with our two adult sons and their girlfriends and our two small dogs, we had the best place to get the best holiday. The house is beautiful - the three bedrooms with bathrooms give you the opportunity to take a retreat, if you need to. The pool is very clean and attractive to swim in - it was used continuously. The key word for a holiday in Oprtalj is "no stress". Nice not to be surrounded by tourists, but to be part of the local community. Visiting wineries, eating at the local restaurant, is for us what we call vacation. We visited the tourist attractions when we felt like it and could leave the many people again. Miljenko, our host, was very helpful and would do everything for us to have a good holiday. Simple - a holiday you don't want to come home from;-)

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir (4 Erwachsene, 1 Jugendlicher) von Herrn Laganis äußerst freundlich willkommen geheißen. Die Villa lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Einrichtung ist bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht. Man sieht und spürt sofort wie viel Liebe und Hingabe in diesem Haus steckt! Der Garten und die Villa sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Von der großenTerrasse mit dem traumhaften Pool hat man einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf Oprtalj. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier absolut richtig! Für uns war es ein perfekter Urlaub und es fällt einem sehr schwer Abschied zu nehmen. Herr Laganis ist wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und hat mit der Villa Mamma Mia ein kleines Paradies geschaffen!!!

Mamma Mia, was für eine traumhafte Villa — leider nur eine Woche gebucht! Wir, das sind 2 Erwachsene und 3 Jugendliche waren vom 8.6.-15.6.2019 in dieser wunderschönen Villa in traumhafter Lage mit Blick auf den kleinen Ort Oprtalj und den liebevoll angelegten Garten ( Kirschen, Aprikosen, Feigen, Weinreben und Oliven). Fußballfeld und gepflegter Pool nicht vergessen😍. Die großzügig geschnittenen Schlafzimmer sowie deren Bäder sind noch schöner wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Das Haus ist für Familien oder mehrere Paare optimal geeignet‚ da es eine sehr gute Aufteilung hat. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist neu- und hochwertig und lässt für uns keine Wünsche übrig. Der Einrichtungsstil ist sehr ansprechend. Der Gastgeber, Herr Laganis ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, gibt wertvolle Tipps bezüglich Restaurants, Ausflügen, Wegbeschreibungen usw. Er ist der perfekte Gastgeber und lebt sein Motto „ich gebe alles was ich kann“ ( Film Mamma Mia 2) Die Villa, samt Gastgeber sind absolut empfehlenswert!
