Just 3km from the villa, overlooking the Mirna River valley, lies surely the most famous and attractive Istrian medieval town of Motovun. This captivating hilltop town is one of the characteristic symbols of the Istrian interior. Traditional local festivities as well as a renowned international film festival are hosted here, bringing this peaceful little town to life. The number of towns and villages to visit is too long to list; this is the heart of Central Istria, one of the most beautiful spots in the world. It is also famous for local Teran and Malvazija grapes, virgin olive oil, home-made cheeses, prosciutto, barbecued meats, and of course truffles, all of which can be sampled in restaurants within the many villages and towns of the area. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails, one of the most stunning of them being the historical Parenzana old railroad trail which offers a unique ride on a tourist train along the route as well. Horseback riding, a round or two of golf or just enjoying in the thermal waters of the nearby spa town add to this long list of activities. The main coastal resorts of Umag, Novigrad and Porec, quickly reached along excellent roads, provide extremely varied leisure facilities, good nightlife, bars and restaurants.

Prekrasna vila sa očaravajućim pogledom. Spavaće sobe su lijepe i komforne te također imaju velike prozore s pogledom prema Motovunu. Dnevni dio spojen je s kuhinjom i blagovaonicom. Imali smo prekrasno vrijeme u ožujku i definitivno najviše uživali uz bazen, ali i u spa zoni s jacuzzijem i saunom. Domaćin je bio ljubazan i gostoljubljiv. Svakako bi bilo lijepo vratiti se tamo.
Really an amazing place. The house itself is spectacular for 8 people. Comfortable rooms and living area, spa zone with jacuzzi and sauna and a huge infinity pool to enjoy picture-perfect views of the Motovun town which changes throughout the day.
The house is a bit secluded and you can enjoy complete silence entire day. Located in the north-west of Istria, it finds itself near all the major tourist destinations and some of the best wineries in Istria.
The hosts were great, accommodated our requests, were extremely welcoming, and I'd like to thank them once more for hosting us in this beautiful surrounding.
I can't wait to return there once again and would recommend this to anyone..
