Superb luxury villa with pool in Cape Kamenjak

Stylish and comfortable villa in an enchanting location - a short distance from the sea, surrounded by the forests of the Kamenjak national park and with its own olive grove. We were a group of 5 adults and 3 children, and this was a perfect place for a family retreat. The small town of Premantura, with a supermarket and various restaurants and souvenir shops, is a few km away, and there are other shopping options a little further afield, so stocking up the kitchen was no problem. There is lots to see and do in Istria, but often we were happy to lounge by/splash in the well-sized pool and take short walks amongst the fragrant pine trees, accompanied by the sound of cicadas. We enjoyed evening meals under the stars, making use of the large BBQ on several occasions. The hosts genuinely cared about our experience and were exceptionally helpful and kind, suggesting restaurants and activities and being on hand for any questions. Overall, a wonderful holiday!

Tolle Villa in ruhiger Lage. Die Gastgeber bieten ihre Hilfe an, geben Tips und sind sehr nett. Kleine Anmerkungen: - die Betten und Schalfzimmer im 1.OG sind deutlich kleiner als im EG., damit muss man klar kommen. - man lebt ein Stück in und mit der Natur. Die Bäume machen im Juni ordentlich Dreck, die Ameisen ziehen ihre Bahnen die Fassade hoch und die Kröte sagt jeden Abend gute Nacht ;-) . Das hat uns nichts ausgemacht, besonders die Vogelwelt ist ein ständiger akustischer Begleiter.. - In der Küche ist etwas Kreativität gefragt, da man öfter mal einen kleinen Helfer, eine Schüssel etc. sucht. Anders als in anderen Villen mit Zeitschaltuhren sind die Gastgeber beleuchtungstechnisch sehr großzügig.. Den Gästen wird eine umfangreiche Beleuchtung gegönnt, die bis spät in der Nacht eine tolle Atmosphäre schafft. In der Summe hat alles gepasst. 4,8 Sterne!

Wir waren diesen August das dritte Mal in Kroatien in einem Ferienhaus und die Villa Vara (S2) topt alle Gesehenen. Die Lage ist einzigartig eingebettet in den oberen Teil des Naturschutzgebietes mit Rad- und Wanderwegen direkt vor der Tür. Das Grundstück ist riesig, liebevoll angelegt und gepflegt. Besonders genossen haben wir die verschiedenen Essplätze mit Überdachung auf der Terrasse, am Grillplatz, im Garten zwischen Olivenbäumen oder im ersten Stock auf dem Balkon mit Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Haus ist modern und durchdacht geplant, unsere Kinder hatten ein eigenes Schlafzimmer und Bad. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig, geschmackvoll und liebevoll im Detail. Der Pool ist größer als er auf den Fotots wirkt. Traumhaft ist die Ruhe und auch die Beleutchtung in der Nacht. Genialerweise wandert man vom Grundstück zu Fuß in 5-6 min (wir haben es oft getestet) zu einer kleinen Bucht mit angrenzender Felsküste und auch zahlreichen schattigen Liegeplätzen. Man gelangt dorthin sonst nur mit dem Boot oder über einen längeren Fußmarsch vom Ort aus bzw. als längerer Abzweig von den Radwegen. Somit haben wir die weiteren zahlreichen Strände im unteren Teil des Naturparks in der Hochsaison eher gemieden. Unsere Gastgeber Boris und Goran und deren Vater waren super nett, engagiert und gleichzeitig unkompliziert. Sie haben sich in allen Belangen bei kleinen Problemen am Haus und Pool sofort gekümmert. bzw waren immer ansprechbar. Wir haben viele tolle Tipps bekommen für die besten Plätze, Restaurants oder Ausflüge. Die Gastgeber helfen auf Wunsch alles mögliche zu organisieren, wenn man das Haus überhaupt verlassen will :-) Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Wir (mein Mann, 2 Kinder 11 und 14 Jahre, sowie meine Eltern und Schwester) hatten traumhafte 2 Wochen in der wunderschönen VillaVara. Die Villa liegt ruhig im Naturschutzgebiet mit Blick auf das Meer. Mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad sind die nächsten Strände in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Boris unser Gastgeber hat uns mit Musik, Obst und gekühltem Weiswein empfangen und stand uns für Fragen rund um Lokale,Ausflüge etc. stets zu Verfügung. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

We were a group of two families who stayed at Villa Vara. We had a wonderful time - the Villa is in a peaceful location with views of the sea and the surrounding olive groves. The outside area is the highlight of the villa in our view as the pool and balcony are lovely spaces and at night they look beautiful with the subtle lighting in place. The covered dining area is a great place to sit and enjoy a meal and the BBQ area got used a number of times. The Kamenjak national park is beautiful and a different beach can be visited each day. The water is crystal clear and there are many cliffs to jump off and we also found sea caves to explore. There is a good cycle and quad hire place only a short distance from the Villa. We found some good restaurants in Prematura - some slightly hidden away. While the village isn't the prettiest we saw on our travels there is a good supermarket, and there are more than enough places to eat and drink. We walked there a couple of times but a torch might be useful if doing so at night. The owners of the Villa Vara were frequently in touch checking if we needed anything and providing tips for places to visit which was lovely. We would definitely recommend staying here. The only things we felt could be improved on was if there was more luxurious bedding and the option of paying for the pool to be heated.

The Villa Vara is a nice and comfortable villa. We spent our vacation with six people and really enjoyed this quiet place. There are many good restaurants in Premantura which is close to the villa.The beaches around Kamenyak are magnificent. From the poolside you have a nice view to the Adriatic Sea. Our hosts stayed always in close contact to us and we got many recommendations what to do and where to go.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Vara. It's a comfortable, modern villa with a nice sea view. Quiet location next to the Kamenyak nature reserve, surrounded by olive trees. Kids loved the spacious pool. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
