Wonderful villa with pool in the heart of Istria

Experience the beauty of Istria - Villa Ulivo is located in a picturesque village called Vizinada, just 20 km from the coastal towns of Porec and Novigrad. With 4 comfortable bedrooms, it offers space for up to 8 people.

Let's take a quick tour!
As you enter the front door, the welcoming gathering place of the villa is in front of you - the inviting open plan living and dining area with kitchen. The furnishings are elegant in their simplicity. Two cosy bedrooms complete this level, each with en-suite bathroom and a glass door leading you to the wonderful outdoor area with panoramic views. The remaining 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are located on the first floor. One of these rooms has its own balcony where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the countryside that will make you forget the stresses and strains of everyday life. Can you imagine greeting the day with a cup of coffee there? Outside, there is a large terrace with a dining table and charcoal barbecue and, of course, a pool surrounded by sun loungers where you can relax while enjoying the charm of Vizinada... .

Vizinada is one of those locations rarely found in an age of instant tourism. This lovely village is located only a short drive from Porec and its beaches. From Vizinada, the view over the Mirna valley is nothing less than stunning. Overused in many travel articles, the word is inadequate for this place. Every day the view changes. Between the hill, Vizinada stands on and the mountains in the background is the ancient hill-top village of Motovun. Yes, ‘stunning’ is the right word! Walk down that same narrow road and you’ll enter a scene that hasn’t changed much in 500 years. The village is natural, not carefully repainted to look new or superficially attractive. Its attraction is in its lost-in-time character. You will find scant references to Vizinada in the guidebooks, so make sure to discover it for yourself. All the amenities are within walking distance. The nearby Parenzana bike route, marked mountain bike trails and also the predominantly lonely roads are ideal for extended bike tours.

Das Haus ist in einem neuwertigen top Zustand und bietet einen hohen Wohn- und Erholungswert. Die Umgebung ist verkehrsgünstig, aber gleichzeitig völlig ruhig. Zusammen mit den bequemen Betten, komfortabel eingerichtet Zimmern und den Fensterläden konnten wir hier alle ausgezeichnet schlafen...für uns das wichtigste für Erholung. Das Haus bietet eine großzügige Wohnküche, eine teilüberdachte Terrasse und einen großen Pool. Beschreibung und Fotos geben ein realistisches Bild. Einfach toll.

Das Haus ist so wie auf den Fotos groß und Sauber. Der Hausmeister ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine Schöne Woche und können es nur weiterempfehlen .

Wir ( 2 Familien mit je 2 Kindern) haben eine Woche hier verbringen dürfen. Das Haus ist sehr modern, ansprechend eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz für alle. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse und dem Pool ist ein Traum, die Dorfstraße stört hier nach unserer Empfindung wenig. Die Umgebung ist ideal zum Biken, Rennrad fahren oder joggen geeignet. Der kleine Supermarkt im Ort hat alles was man schnell mal brauchen kann. Zum Meer oder größeren Supermärkten ist man in 15-20 min schnell gefahren. Der Hausmeister vor Ort ist sehr zuvorkommend und immer erreichbar, wir fühlten uns 7 Tage lang sehr wohl und können das Haus nur empfehlen.

Modern Villa with good location next to plenty of nice restaurants. House was very clean and all 4 bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms. Would have liked to give 4 or 5 stars but (1) there were constructions going on directly!! Next to the pool for the entire week we stayed there during the entire day (typically peaking during noon when everyone wanted to relax as kids were sleeping), (2) aircon never managed to get room temperature below 25 degrees, (3) dish washer wasn’t working properly and only started somewhat working after we spent some hours repairing it. Even though Zoran the host invited us to a pizza dinner to compensate - this didn’t compensate for the construction noise in particular which really spoiled the holiday feeling…

Es tut mir leid, dass Sie sich während Ihres Aufenthalts durch Baulärm gestört geführt haben. Es kommt leider immer wieder vor, dass auch in den Sommermonaten gebaut wird. Ich habe das leider in dieser Form nicht mitbekommen und war auch über das Ausmaß der Lärmbelästigung überrascht. Ich habe nunmehr mit dem Bauherrn gesprochen, sodass ab Anfang August 2022 ein Baustopp stattfinden wird. Über den Winter und den Frühling wird der Bau dann hoffentlich sehr weit erledigt sein.

Sollten Sie sich während Ihres Aufenthalts durch Baulärm gestört fühlen, bitte kontaktieren Sie zuerst Ihren Gastgeber vor Ort.

Auch was technische Geräte betrifft, müssen natürlich immer wieder Schäden behoben werden. Auch diese waren mir nicht bekannt. Der Geschirrspüler ist nahezu neu – aber wenn er sich nicht reparieren lässt, muss ich ihn natürlich austauschen. Ich werde aber demnächst vor Ort sein und mir ein Bild machen – sowie die entsprechenden Handwerker kontaktieren.

Wir durften mit unseren beiden Töchter eine fantastische Woche in der wunderschönen Villa Ulivo verbringen. Die Villa hat alles was man sich wünscht uns sieht genau so toll aus wie auf den Fotos. Der Gastgeber Zoran war absolut hilfsbereit, sehr nett und immer erreichbar. Das haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön. Die Restaurants Jadrushi und Selo Mekisi sind spitze. Das Meer war auch gut erreichbar und das wunderschöne Dorf Porec lohnt sich auf jeden Fall zu besuchen. Wir sind absolut begeistert und glücklich, dass wir in diesem tollen Haus unsere Ferien verbringen durften. Wir können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen.

Villa Ulivo ist ein tolles, absolut hochwertig ausgestattetes Haus. Es gab nichts was wir vermisst haben. Villa ist sehr sauber, hat einen schönen großen Pool und ausreichend Platz für 8 Personen. Unser Ansprechpartner Zoran war jederzeit erreichbar und äußerst hilfsbereit. In der Nähe gibt es einige gute Restaurants wie z.B. Selo Mekisi oder Konoba Jadruhi, die wir empfehlen können. Mehrere Winzer, wo man das Weintesting in einer malerischen Umgebung machen kann, sind in paar Minuten zu erreichen. Das Meer ist in weniger als eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Wir hatten eine richtig tolle Woche in Villa Ulivo und können die sehr empfehlen.

Our whole family from grandparents to teenage children had a wonderful week in Villa Ulivo. The house had absolutely everything we needed, it was exceptionally clean and of a high standard. Zoran the caretaker could not have been more helpful. He popped over every time we needed anything and when our car broke down, he even helped organise a tow truck to get us back home to Austria. The Villa is located inland, which meant the environment was calm and relaxing and with short drives we were able to access multiple activities including cycling, kayaking, sightseeing and many more. We also highly recommend visiting the 'Agroturizam Selo Mekiši': the food , wine and atmosphere were outstanding. Sadly the were fully booked when we wanted to return. We definitely recommend Villa Ulivo!
