Entering the villa you find yourself in the cosy living room, where you can enjoy your evenings while having family PlayStation tournaments if you feel like it. The living room is followed by the modern dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is bright and you can exit the garden from it.
On the ground floor are 2 adorable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet. On the first floor are 2 more delightful bedrooms and one bathroom. One of the rooms has a charming shaded balcony overlooking the island greenery and the pool. All the rooms have A/C as well.
The outdoors has a covered terrace, so you can enjoy the beautiful shaded area, carefree in the fresh air and under the sun. Anytime you feel the need to freshen up, you can jump into the pool and ease down the warm summer temperatures. Whether you like sitting in the shaded area or just sunbathing on one of the loungers, you will feel relaxed for sure. Sipping some freshly squeezed fruit juice, let yourself revel in well-deserved time away from hectic everyday life.
In the garden, there is also a stone BBQ, as well as a dining area for 10 people. Since you’re on a Croatian island, we recommend dining the Croatian way. That means preparing tasty traditional Dalmatian meals as a family activity. Villa Rossita also offers its guests a personal berth for a 9m longboat, with no extra charge.

The lovely family villa Rossita is located in the village of Muline, on the island of Ugljan. Ugljan is an island near the town of Zadar and the best place for a family getaway. It is close to the city but also far enough from the busy tourist areas. From all the islands in the Zadar archipelago, it is the closest one to the city - just 30 minutes by ferry. Zadar is a beautiful medieval city with a historically rich peninsula. Some of the sights date back to the Antique and it is the home to the famous and unique sea organ. Nearby is also a famous National park Kornati and Croatia's most famous sandy Saharun beach, on the island of Dugi otok. We definitely recommend exploring the island of Ugljan as it has plenty of interesting sights. It was inhabited by Romans, and the village Muline was the main centre for olive oil production. The island’s name comes from “ugljen” meaning charcoal in Croatian, which was also produced from wood back in the days. Today, the island of Ugljan is very famous for growing figs, olives, wine and fishing. We highly recommend trying locally produced products and dishes. Ugljan is also called “the garden of Zadar” as it has around 70% of authentic vegetation. The climate is perfect for growing plenty of fruits, vegetables and forests, too. Our beautiful villa Rossita is very close to the sea and the sandy beach Muline. We believe any exploring of the island will be at ease and very tempting. The restaurant, shops and cafes are all within 500m and if you like long walks or cycling, Ugljan has many hiking and biking trails.
