Beautiful villa with pool next to a creek in Buzet
Beautiful Villa Mulino is located in the middle of the Istrian nature and offers a relaxed atmosphere. This restored villa used to be an old mill, and the authentic look of the stone house fits perfectly in the landscape.
In front of the villa you can cool off in the pool or have your favourite drink on sun loungers. In the calm atmosphere of the Istrian surroundings, you will be especially relaxed by the sound of the stream that flows through the property. On the covered terrace in front of the villa you can enjoy dishes prepared on a stone grill in the garden.
Inside the villa, the look of classic Istrian houses with stone walls and wooden ceilings has been preserved. Therefore is also the living room with the fireplace decorated in this style, and from this room you have also access to the terrace.
From the living room expands a dining room, through which you enter a charming kitchen. You will be impressed by this charming kitchen, which is decorated with pastel green tones in combination with wood and stone.
On the first floor there are two cozy bedrooms with double beds, while the remaining bedrooms with double beds are on the second floor. There is also a bathroom on each floor.
You will not only spend your free time on the terrace in front of the villa, but also on the terrace on the first floor, which offers a view of the breathtaking nature.
If you are planning a family vacation, you will especially enjoy the swings for the children in the garden.
Bed linens are provided and changed once per week. Baby cot available upon request.

A bathroom is on each floor shared by two bedrooms. The third bathroom is accessed directly from the pool and garden area.
Bathroom towels are provided and changed once peer week.
The villa is situated just out of the ancient town of Buzet. Buzet is situated in the very north of Istria near the border with Slovenia. Its historic core, dating from the Middle Ages lies on a hilltop above a fertile valley of the longest Istrian river – the Mirna.
Today, Buzet is widely known as the 'City of Truffles' since the forests along the Mirna River are especially rich in this divine tuber. According to some views, the white truffle of Istria is as good as the most famous white truffle from the Italian region of Alba. In honour of this truffle, each year Truffle Days are organized in September and October.
On the second weekend in September a large folk festivity also take place in Buzet with a special attraction – a giant omelette (commonly known as 'fritada' or 'fritaja') with over 2 000 eggs and 10 kilograms off truffles is prepared in a huge pan. This event officially marks the beginning of Truffle Days in Istria.
In the surroundings of Buzet there are some very well preserved medieval towns.
Wir haben den Urlaub in der "alten" Mühle sehr genossen. Sie ist bestens ausgestattet und wirklich sehr schön anzusehen vom Pool aus.
Wir waren auch 2 Familien und hatten ausreichend Platz. Die abgeschiedenen Lage ist phänomenal! Und trotzdem ist 10min entfernt ein großer Supermarkt.
Wir waren alle sehr glücklich und zufrieden dort!

Wir können nach 2 super Wochen Urlaub die Villa Mulino nur weiterempfehlen.
Das Haus war sehr sauber, der Garten sehr gepflegt und die Gastgeberfamilie Nakic sehr herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit.
Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und auch die Matratzen waren bequem.
Der Pool hat eine super Größe für die Kinder zum Planschen und zum Abkühlen.
In der wunderschönen Außenanlage findet man zu jeder Zeit ein schönes Schattenplätzchen zum Entspannen.
Wir haben die Alleinlage und Abschiedenheit der Villa sehr genossen.
Es gibt gute Konobas ganz in der Nähe und auch einen Lieferservice für Pizza, Nudeln und Salat.
Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern in der Villa Mulino und fanden den Platz absolut ausreichend.
Von uns volle Punkzahl, absolut weiter zu empfehlen !
Wir haben zwei herrliche Augustwochen in diesem sehr gepflegten und liebevoll ausgestatteten Anwesen verbracht und die Stille und Abgeschiedenheit sehr genossen. Der Garten ist ein Naturidyll, rundherum rauschen die Wälder und der Bach, der Pool ist ausreichend groß zum Abkühlen und Plantschen.
Wir waren zum Teil zu acht, haben viel gegrillt oder uns in der gut ausgestatteten Küche selbst versorgt. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es einen großen, täglich bis 22.00 Uhr geöffneten Supermarkt und einige sehr empfehlenswerte Restaurants (Trüffel!).
Wer in idyllischer Umgebung entspannen und sich erholen möchte, ist hier genau richtig!
Die Vermieterfamilie Nakic hat uns mehrfach spontan mit Leckerbissen versorgt und war per Whatsapp stets erreichbar, wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben. Dieses Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die die Natur genießen und es sich gut gehen lassen möchten!

Wir verbrachten bei bestem Wetter 2 traumhafte Wochen im September 2018. Ruhige Lage, nette Besitzer, alles ist sehr sauber und traumhafter Garten. Das Bachplätschern ist Wellness rund um die Uhr, perfekt zum Abschalten und Entschleunigen.
In 40 Minuten ist man am Meer, kann sich beim Haus stressfrei erholen oder Ausflüge in die tolle Umgebung machen.
Die Eltern des Eigentümers halten in Hausnähe auf dem Grundstück einige Hühner ( stören nicht ) samt Hund, kommen morgens und abends zum füttern vorbei und bauen auch ein wenig Gemüse an bzw. ernten Obst - somit ist immer jemand erreichbar, ebenso der Besitzer.
Das Haus entspricht voll den Bildern und kann definitiv empfohlen werden, Danke auch für die sehr guten „ Gastgaben“

Vom 27.05. - 10.06.2017 hatten wir die Villa Mulino gemietet. Ein wunderschönes Haus inmitten der Natur. Absolut ruhige Lage und sehr nette Besitzer. Das Wetter war traumhaft und wir konnten in den zwei Wochen total entspannen. Wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt und können es nur weiter empfehlen.

Das absolute Traum-Domizil. Nicht weit von der Hauptstraße, aber absolut lärmfrei, liegt das wunderschöne Haus in einer traumhaften Idylle. Ausgestattet mit allem was man zum leben benötigt und noch vieles mehr. Der Pool und die Schaukel wurden gerne von den Kindern genutzt und es war immer noch viel Platz für Federball und Tischtennis. Die Hunde hatten mit so viel Auslauf auch ihren Spaß und sichtlich relaxed. Diese Villa ist total zu empfehlen und verdient definitv 5 Sterne. Die hinterlegten Bilder entsprechen der Realität. Wir kommen wieder!!!
I stayed in this lovely villa with my husband in mid September 2015. The pictures are very accurate and the hosts were easy to deal with and very attentive. We arrived late at night, and the hosts accommodated our late arrival. They took the time to show us how to work the appliances (dishwasher, washing machine), and when we later had questions, they were available via text to help out. We dealt mostly with the owner's daughter and niece, who were both excellent English speakers. We did swim in the pool once, but it was pretty cold. The pool is well maintained and clean. While we were there, the temperature was in the high 70s to high 80s, but the pool didn't get above 68 degrees. I think the proximity to the river and shady location keeps the water pretty cool -- just something to be aware of if swimming is a big part of your plan. The kitchen was excellent, and the hosts stocked it with homemade jams and cakes. They also provided cereal, milk, fruit, bread, cheese, and prsut. A wonderful selection that lasted the whole week. They also offered us honey grappa and homemade plum brandy. The owners just bought a brand new, king size mattress for one of the bedrooms. The beds in the house are pretty firm. The king bed upstairs is the softest, if you prefer a softer bed, and the linens were clean and soft. The house stayed pretty cool during the day, even when it was in the upper 80s. There is an air conditioning unit in the hall way on the top floor to cool the bedrooms. We used it one night for a little while, but mostly didn't need it. The property is very large and isolated. Just a note, there is a friendly outdoor cat on the premises and the owners keep dogs and some chickens on their property lot to the right. The owners come in the morning to feed the dogs. I was a little worried about this, but we only saw the owners once, rarely could hear the dogs or other animal (and never saw them), and the cat stayed outside. No problem at all -- the property was very quiet, isolated, and peaceful. We had an excellent time at Villa Mulino and would definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful and perfect villa this is you will not be dissapointed.
The villa is located outside of the pretty town of Buzet about a 10 minute drive to the centre and shops/supermarket.
The villa is spotlessley clean and is maintained to a very high standard with plenty of facilities to use.
Each room is decorated beautifully and has its own character,whilst retaining its traditional stone villa theme. The swimming pool and the sun loungers and all of the terrace areas have been maintained to a very high standard. The hosts of the villas are lovely and are very attentive and knowledgeable and looked after us so well. We visited beaches at Lanterna which was about an hours drive as were most of the attractions and towns, if you visit ask to be taking to the restaurant in the hills you will not be dissapointed either. Altogether we had an amzing famly holiday, set in a beautiful villa and beautiful location with excellent standards of facilities, and the 'WOW' factor being the villa and the beautiful creek. Will definately be visiting again, well done My Istria on finding this little gem !!!
What an amazing villa this is, absolutely beautiful. The Villa in beautifully decorated and retains its charm and serenity. Located just outside of Buzet but within a 10 minute drive to the locals shops etc. The hosts of the villa are very very friendly and looked after us all very well.Will definately reccomend to all our friends.
