Upon entering a spacious living room You will see a massive wooden table which seats twelve and, once unavoidable part of Istrian houses, a traditional fireplace. While the opening on the left leads into a kitchen equipped in a modern fashion, the front one draws you onto a terrace overlooking the white truffle habitat, the impounded lake Butoniga and several picturesque, historical small towns.
The price includes a free truffle tasting organized by the owners.
On the same floor there is a spacious two-person en suite bedroom and a way out onto the terrace.
The villa offers quality local products made by the owners such as Istrian sausages with truffles, truffle cheese, truffle honey…
The second floor is reserved for three bedrooms. Each bedroom has an en suite with two sinks and a shower,
The ground floor is reserved for recreation, pastime and relaxation. Nothing is left to case. Here all generations are taken care of. For the youngest there is a children’s corner while for the older ones there is room for relaxation – a wellness with a four person Jacuzzi and a Finnish sauna. Also on the floor there is a billiards, table football and darts machine as well as an exercise area with a direct exit to the pool. The guests also have a laundry at their disposal.
The fifth and also the largest bedroom is situated on the ground floor, it has a double and 2 single beds, a modern en suite and a direct exit into the garden.
If you are craving for refreshment in the hot summer months there is a 50 m2 pool featuring hydro-massage pumps. You can catch some sun in one of the twelve deck chairs and if you want a less isolated place pick one of the olive trees to give you some shade. While you carelessly enjoy the view of the lake and the surrounding centenary woods, your youngest can have fun in the sandbox, on the seesaw or the swings. In the garden there is also a roofed outdoor kitchen with a barbecue grill, a gas cooker, sink, fridge and a twelve person table. Here guests can prepare istrian specialties themselves or rely on professional guidance.
A mobile shop with basic groceries comes to the village 3 times per week.

Villa Olea is located in a small and quiet village called Paladini. Villa is nested on a unique elevated position that offers perfect privacy and breath taking views to lake Butoniga and magical surroundings. First larger city is Buzet that is widely known as the 'City of Truffles' since the forests along the Mirna River are especially rich in this divine tuber. Buzet, a town placed on a hill in the middle of the fruitful valley of the Mirna River. Inhabited already in prehistory, it was fortified during the Roman rule. The central square with the parochial church of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Assumption, is the very core of the old town. While here, be sure not to miss a visit to the County Museum of Buzet and its surroundings. In the surroundings of Buzet there are some very well preserved medieval towns.
Villa Olea ist großartig, sehr geräumig, sehr schöne Gegend, super nette Vermieter. Die Trüffel-Verkostung war noch die Krönung des ganzen Aufenthaltes.
Eine wunderschöne, sehr gepflegte Villa. Die Lage ist wunderbar wenn man die Ruhe sucht. So nette und kinderfreundliche Vermieter haben wir noch nie erlebt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden nächstes Jahr wieder hin fahren.

We have just returned from Villa Olea/Maslinas after two perfect weeks. Radmilla and Kristina could not have been more helpful. The villa is amazing. Better even than the description. The views from the balcony are incredible and Paladini is a perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of just about anywhere in the world. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing holiday in perfect surroundings in an amazing villa.
This is the best villa that we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in a lot!!!
