Modern villa with pool in central Istria

Enjoy your holidays in the beautiful, modernly furnished Vill Casa Di Matteo located in the small town in the middle of the green hills of central Istria. This one-storey villa offers accommodation for 6 persons and is ideally suited for family holidays.
You will surely spend a lot of time together around the big, private pool. While you are preparing meals on the grill, the kids can play volleyball in the spacious garden. With numerous garden furniture and sun loungers, the garden offers a lot of space to unwind, sunbathe or just relax in the shadows of the sun umbrellas. All of the rooms are located on the ground floor. The central room to get together connects the kitchen, living and dining room in an open concept. This warm-coloured area is furnished with many stylish details and wonderful paintings. The kitchen with an island is completely furnished and offers ample space for cooking. The big glass doors are opening up the area with a view of the inviting pool of the villa. Outside you will find the grill and enough space for having a nice al fresco dinner. The hallway leads to the chic bedrooms with interesting wallpapers, furnished elegantly with a direct exit to the garden. Each bedroom disposes of double beds and air conditioners. Here you can relax and plan your trip to the magic hinterland of Istria.

The hamlet Sv. Petar u Sumi is a quiet and relaxing place, not far away from the busy tourist centre of Porec and Rovinj. The first grocery stores are just 1 km away from the villa while you can find bigger shops within 5 km from the villa. Although this is a little village, here you can visit beautiful churches (the monastery church of St. Peter and Paul the Apostle), great to see if you are into architecture and mosaics from the Gothic period. You should also visit the nearby city Pazin. For hundreds of centuries, Pazin was the strongest Habsburg fortress in this area and the headquarters of the former Pazin ruler. This medieval fort (“Kastel”) is well-preserved so you can visit it nowadays. It is being used as an Ethnographic Museum of Istria and the Museum of the Town of Pazin. Explore the Istrian hinterland through hiking or bike tours and try famous specialities like truffles.

Genau so haben wir uns unseren Urlaub vorgestellt. Fernab vom Trubel. Die Villa bietet alles, was man zum Erholen braucht, und die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, jederzeit erreichbar sollte man etwas benötigen. Wir fanden es super toll.
