Villa Gerda is nested in the small village Vrh Lašići. This is a small village just a short drive away from the beautiful small medieval town of Vizinada. The centre of Vizinada can be also easily reached on foot or by biking along the Parenzana which is probably the most beautiful bike lane in Istria. You can witness one of the most beautiful views of the Green and Blue Istria from the hill rising above the Mirna valley if you visit this small town. Walking along the streets of this town you will surely be enchanted by the smell of the cakes during the manifestation Slatka Istra ‘Sweet Istria’. On the sole peak of the hill, there is the sanctuary of God’s Field and the Gothic church of St. Mary from the 15th century with the stone head on the façade which, according to the legend, represents Attila the leader of the Huns. In the 19th century a famous ballerina Carlotta Grisi danced in the streets of this beautiful town rich with Istrian dialects. Vižinada is also mentioned in one of the novels written by the French writer Jules Verne. Car is recommended.

Es war eine schöne Zeit, da wir schon seid über 10 Jahren in veschiedenen Orten in dieser Gegend waren, kann ich auch wie jedes andere Haus bisher jeden weiterempfehlen, war alles bestens..
Wundervolle 10 Tage in einem tollen und sehr sauberen Haus, die ganze Familie hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Stefano hat uns bei anfallenden Kleinigkeiten sehr kompetent und schnell unterstützt. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Internetgeschwindigkeit ist zum Streamen und Arbeiten noch ausbaufähig (~ 1Mbit)..
