The old stone villa was thoughtfully restored preserving its immense charm yet with a stylish contemporary twist bringing together sophistication, functionality and a sense of inviting warmth.
The ground floor is home to an impressive open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. It features this wonderful fusion of traditional and contemporary style providing the ideal setting for the whole party to gather. Large patio doors bring in the abundance of warm Istrian light, as well as the views of the pool and the magical countryside.
Outside, the alluring swimming pool with a shallow beach-effect end takes centre stage. It is surrounded by a beautiful stone terrace, perfect for lounging, sunbathing and soaking up the relaxing rural atmosphere. Overlooking the pool is a shaded outdoor dining area lending itself to those unhurried, all-day lunches or romantic dinners under the starry sky.
The four bedrooms, one of them conveniently located on the ground floor, are both elegant and cosy, each one with the benefit of a meticulously designed ensuite bathroom and a flat screen TV.

The location of Casa 42 provides a relaxing escape from the summer crowds, yet it is only a short drive away from all the amenities as well as the stunning beaches this region abounds. The historic hilltop towns of Svetvincenat (10 km), Zminj (18) and Bale (18 km) are surely worth a visit and will enchant you with their quaint winding streets, cute little cafes, nice restaurants and the laid-back atmosphere. Definitely not to be missed is the stunning regional capital of Pula (25 km). For those preferring active holidays there is a great adrenaline park in the village of Glavani, only 5 km away, as well as a beautiful horse ranch Barba Tone (7 km) ensuring a fun day in the sunshine for the entire family.
Wir verbrachten eine Woche im Ferienhaus und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, die Küche bietet alles nötige Zubehör. Der Garten ist gepflegt und die Umgebung idyllisch und ruhig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We really enjoyed our family vacation in this place.
The villa is immersed in the green Istria peninsula, among farms and other country houses.Perfect location. The villa is simply amazing.
It's architectural structure paired with fine minimal pieces of furniture, makes this location a masterpiece of style. Fully equipped, luxury details, we were 4 couples and each of us had its own privacy with wide bedrooms and private annexed bathrooms .
The kitchen is huge and fully equipped. Living room is gorgeous. Each detail is accurate, natural colors everywhere match the natural stone and wood architecture of this beautiful villa.
Last but not least the swimming pool and the garden that make you stay and relax in this angle of Paradise.
Thanks Mario for his constant availability and kindness, for his tasting olive oil and tomatoes! Thanks to his mother in law for her super fresh eggs!

Wir haben die Casa 42 im Juli 2019 gemietet.
Der Gastgeber Mario hat uns dort sehr freundlich mit Wein und einem Obstkorb empfangen und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar, da er nur einige Häuser entfernt wohnt.
Villa und Außenbereich sind sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll saniert. Das Exposé der Villa bei myIstria ist nicht untertrieben. Die fast klösterliche Atmosphere im Haus lässt einen schnell abschalten und zur Ruhe kommen, zumal 4 km von der Landstraße entfernt nicht viel Durchgangsverkehr herrscht. Im Poolbereich läuft es sich wunderbar auf dem geschliffenen warmen Naturstein und durch die Beschichtung des Pools hat man fast den Eindruck, man würde im Meer schwimmen. Abends sind Außenbereich und Pool zudem noch sehr schön beleuchtet.
Wir haben zu dritt eine sehr angenehme und entspannte Urlaubswoche in der Casa 42 verbracht.

Beautiful and stunning new villa, thoroughly enjoyed all it had to offer. Standards are fabulous.
Only downside is the location, and the fact that the plot is open to passing traffic on two sides, and privacy is somewhat compromised. That said, had a great week at Casa 42

As the description says, Casa 42 is located in a tiny village amidst the Istrian countryside. The exact location can be checked by view on the map (zoom, satellite). To get a better impression, pictures are available on the homepage. The road is an access road to the villa and there is almost no traffic in the village at all.
However, the owner and we, My Istria, are very glad that you had a nice time in villa.
