In true Istrian style this enchanting villa sits on a hillside, offering magnificent, never-ending views across the picturesque rolling hills with dazzling blue waters of the Adriatic and the idyllic Kvarner Islands in the background.
The ground floor features an elegant and spacious open plan living and dining room with a modern fully equipped kitchen where you can try your hand at some of the local cuisine. Beautiful fireplace, butter-soft sofas and natural colours create a cosy ambience, while the large flat screen TV with a great stereo system, as well as Playstation will keep you and your family entertained. Vast patio doors let in plenty of natural light during the day, making it look as though there is no end to the view. They lead out onto a large loggia with an inviting outside lounge, as well as a dining table with a built-in barbecue for relaxing al fresco meals. The beautiful infinity pool is designed in a way whereby the edge simply disappears, into a dazzling backdrop providing the unmatchable panorama. Three air-conditioned bedrooms, one of them ensuite, are distributed over the upper floor which opens onto a spacious terrace with spectacular views to wake up to each morning. Plenty of equipment for younger children, from cot and high chair to their very own outside playground, as well as table tennis, table football and darts add to the family friendly feel. After a long day of sightseeing or bathing in the crystal clear sea, what a place to witness the milky-pink sunsets with the silhouette of the historic town of Labin against the skyline.

From its superb location the enchanting Villa Amelie enjoys one of the most beautiful views of the medieval town of Labin. Nestled on a hilltop just above the magical coastline, Labin is the historic and administrative centre of eastern Istria. The area is a paradise for history and art enthusiasts with its rich cultural and architectural heritage. The steep winding streets of the old town boast well preserved historical palaces, numerous art galleries and studios and host various jazz and classical music festivals during the summer months. The town offers several excellent seafood restaurants, with much local produce on offer, as well as many cosy coffee shops, ideal for soaking up the relaxed atmosphere. Labin's seaside resort is Rabac, once a fishing village and today a popular tourist destination surrounded by heavenly pebbly beaches.

Im Gesamten ein sehr erholsamer und schöner Urlaub in Labin.
Ein besonderer Dank gilt unserem Gastgeber der mit Rat und Tat jederzeit zur Verfügung stand. Sehr hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend.
Wir könne die Villa nur weiterempfehlen.
Gigantischer Ausblick bei herrlichem Ambiente. Schon die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich von den Vermietern. Die jederzeit zur Verfügung standen bei Fragen und uns freundlich Auskunft gaben. Auch die Empfehlung für ein Restaurant war super.
Im Haus war es sauber und an Komfort war alles gegeben. Jedes Zimmer hatte einen herrlichen Ausblick den wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden. Unser bester Freund waren der Pool, wenn wir nicht am Strand waren oder die Insel entdeckt haben,und außerdem war die Eiswürfel-Kühlschrankkombi sehr beliebt. Die Auf- und Abfahrt haben wir jedes Mal gefeiert und bestaunt.
Wir kommen gerne wieder da wir leider nur eine Woche da sein konnten.

Wir haben in der Villa Amelie einen wundervollen Urlaub Ende Oktober/Anfang November verbracht. Das Haus hat eine tolle Ausstattung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Man kann sich einfach rundherum wohlfühlen und den tollen Ausblick auf Labin und Umgebung genießen.. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auf Fragen oder Bitten wird umgehend eingegangen. Dieser Urlaub wird uns in bester Erinnerung bleiben.
Der Abschied fiel uns sehr schwer.. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in dieser TOP-Villa.. Die Stufen zum Haus hoch sind schon ein Genuss.. Es kam eine wunderbare Brise von Rosmarin und Lavendel und dann steht man da oben und hat eine wundervolle Villa vor sich.. Die vielen Liegemöglichkeiten, dieser gigantische Ausblick, der tolle Infinity-Pool, der einladende Tisch mit dem großen Griller... Dann betritt man das Haus und sieht schon den leckeren Obstkorb, und die geniale Küche (Gasherd, Eiswürfelmaschine, Gefrierschrank, groooßeer Kühlschrank mit Getränkeklappe, Saeco-Kaffeemaschine eine einladende Sitzmöglichkeit bei der Bar... Sogar eine Waschmaschine steht zur Verfügung (die ich sogar genutzt habe, um die schmutzigen Strand-Handtücher zu waschen) und der tolle Tischfußballtisch, die Mega-Sound-Anlage, ein großer Fernseher der alles an Sendern zu bieten hat, Tischtennis, Dart, Rutsche und ein (kleineres) Trampolin haben unseren Aufenthalt mehr als versüsst.. Wir wären sehr gern noch länger geblieben - die Vermieter sind super-freundlich und die Poolreinigung bzw, wenn sonst was zu machen ist, erfolgt in den sehr frühen Morgenstunden sehr diskret, daß man nichts mitbekommt..
Wir haben einige schöne (versteckte Strände) angefahren, was uns persönlich besser gefällt, als der überfüllte Strand in Rabac.. Da heuer anscheinend wirklich seeehr viel los ist, können wir nur jedem empfehlen - wenn man wo lecker Essen gehen möchte (was wir in Labin 3 x gemacht haben) vorher anzurufen und zu reservieren.. Die Straße zur Villa ist das erste mal auch recht spannend.. :;-) wird man aber gewohnt und der Ausblick ist dann einfach spitzenmässig.. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!!

Hallo alle zusammen:) meine Familie und ich waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Wir waren zutiefst begeistert, die Villa war sehr schön eingerichtet. Es war sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich zudem hatten wir einen schönen Ausblick auf das Meer sowie auf labin und rabac. Ich kann die Villa wirklich sehr empfehlen. Die Villa ist ein Traum. Unglaublich entspannend der weite Blick ins Grüne bis hin nach Labin. Wunderschön der Infinitypool, an dem bequeme Liegen, eine Chilloutarea schaffen, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Absolut vollständig die Ausstattung des Hauses bis hin zur Saecco Kaffeemaschine, die mit Bohnen im Mahlwerk bereits gefüllt ist. Daneben ein Riesenkühlschrank mit Eiswürfelauswurf und Getränkeklappe. Es ist wirklich alles da. Außen gibt es einen riesigen Grill an der überdachten Terrasse. Langeweile muss nicht aufkommen, da Darts, Tischtennis und Kicker gespielt werden kann. Ein grosser TV mit deutschen Programmen steht auch zur Verfügung. Selbst schuld, wer hier Fernsehen schaut- bei diesem unbezahlbar Panoramablick.
Dieses Paradies wird topsauber überlassen und der Pool ständig diskret in den frühen Morgenstunden gepflegt.
Kleines Manko: die steile Anfahrt auf einer zuweilen sehr engen Piste ist nichts für den ungeübte Autofahrer!

Along with the beautiful scenery and spectacular view it comes very well equipped household with every kitchen appliance and accessory you possibly need and can think of.
Excellent swimming pool with sufficient length/width/depth and attractive "infinity" view, well maintained and cleaned on regular basis by "invisible" host.
Perfect for kids (three grandchildren in our company) with everything they can imagine for outdoor and indoor entertainment (when not swimming in the pool).
Beautiful nature and surroundings, peaceful and quiet. The crickets buzzing (mentioned in one of previous posts) is welcome because it is a trade mark of Adriatic; it is an obligatory sound effect, and a sign of joy and lust!!!!
Although we used Villa Amelie in a classic grandparents/grandchildren scenario, I can imagine few more:
- romantic hideaway for a couple(s) in love,
- perfect "headquarters" for a group of nature loving friends (biking, hiking etc)
- gourmets intending to explore the region full of good vines and tasty food, etc, etc
The villa is also well maintained and everything functions properly, and the hosts are very kind and disposable for any request (if needed).
Definitely, we'll be back (in any of scenarios mentioned above)!!

Die Villa hat alle Versprechungen eingehalten, die Fotos sind alle aktuell. Wir hatten einen sensationellen Urlaub dort. Es hat an absolut nichts gemangelt. Tolle Lage, toller Pool, tolle Einrichtung. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und geht auch auf individuelle Wünsche ein. Die Nähe zur Altstadt von Labin und den Strand in Rabac machten den Urlaub perfekt. Wir können die Villa nur empfehlen.
Wunderbares Ferienhaus. Sehr schöne Lage, toller Blick in die Landschaft. Haus ist bestens ausgestattet. Einzige kleine Fußnote: Die Deckenleuchten im Wohnzimmer wirken recht kühl, eine Stehlampe würde zusätzlich für Stimmung sorgen. Auch ein wenig mehr Grün draußen wäre toll. Das ist aber wohl dem Umstand geschuldet, dass das Haus noch relativ neu ist - die Pflanzen müssen noch wachsen....

Die Villa Amelie lässt keine Wünsche offen. Luxus pur. Von morgens bis abends Sonne. Weit und breit kein perfekteres Zuhause für 14 Tage Urlaub gesehen. Egal ob für Paare ( wir waren 3 Paare) oder eine Familie. Für jeden geeignet und auch sehr kinderfreundlich. Die Vermieter stehen jederzeit für Fragen bereit und sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dieser romantische Ort hat mich nicht zum letzten Mal gesehen.
A perfect villa in a wonderful surrounding. Magical views and a good place to start visiting the islands cres, krk and so on. In the kitchen you will find anything you need. The host is friendly and helpful.
It would be more than perfect if there were one or two small tables for outside, because we prefered to sit on several different places around the pool.

You've just found a perfect Villa.
Enumerating all benefits would take an essay, while in one word it may be described as " FABULOUS".
Agree with every positive feedback from previous reviews.
A bit of comments from our personal experience (june 2018) herebelow.
VIEW: Whatever you can see in the pictures is very true (very little photoshop, indeed) you buy what you see here... You may like the pictures of the terrific views, but in reality, they turn absolutely breathtaking. Villa's position very private, but does not feel isolated.
VILLA: Villa space is very well planned, you have, literaly, whatever you may need and even more, and it is spacious, clean, and well maintained.
HOST: Started feeling he was a very good man, after his second line in whatsup, before our arrival. When shaked hands for goodbye on leaving from the villa, felt like leaving a good old freind,
FOR KIDS: equipped playground, safe and convenient for children. ours spent 80% of their day outside.
REMARKABLE: the olive tree in the villa is said to be 260 years old (please treat her with respect).
WOULD RECOMMEND: definitely yes.
We have booked the villa for one week and had a perfect holiday at the house! The view is awesome, the villa is clean and gives a lot of activities like tabletennis, ps3 or table soccer! The infinity pool is big enough for games and poolfun and also with lights for the night!
It is possible to get the car into garage and the city is just a few minutes away!
The Host is so a friendly person and show you Everything what you want to know, very nice guy!
I would book this house again and can just let everybody know that you can spend a nice holiday there! Best regards from Germany :)

Absolutely amazing holiday. A beautiful luxury villa, fully air-conditioned, refreshing clean pool for when temperatures in mid 30s. Used barbecue most evenings, but good local restaurants visited. Two good supermarkets in local town of Labin, short drive. Terrace with lovely views, spectacular sunsets; yes do hear buzzing of insect in trees, but all over Croatia and you just get used to it, not an unbearable noise at all. Don't be put off by this. Easy travel from villa to Rabac, active interesting resort day and night. Lovely boat trip from Rabac to island of Cres. Hosts were extremely welcoming, staying until after 1am on first night, owing to flight delays and accident prior to our arrival on road to villa. In direct contact for anything we needed, lived locally. Fully recommended. An wonderful unforgettable holiday!
