Charming restored stone villa with private pool

This charming original stone house has been carefully renovated as a perfect holiday home with attractive rustic furniture in traditional style. It has 4 well-appointed bedrooms, three of which are equipped with a double bed and one has two single beds.

The private swimming pool is 45 m2 large and ideal to chill out and keep cool in the hot Croatian sun. The area surrounding the swimming pool stretches to 14000m2 of trimmed grass and it is equipped with 7 deck chairs. The garden also encompasses a barbecue area with dining table where you can enjoy some unforgettable moments with family and friends. Apart from that, there is a private bocce court. This ancient game,with Italian roots, is a popular game all along the Croatian coast. There is also all necessary equipment needed for the game at your disposal, so this is definitely a new thing to acquire when staying at villa Bura. The traditional Istrian architecture has been completely preserved so two of the rooms function as connecting rooms. The villa is equipped with satellite TV, DVD and wireless internet. There is also a parking space available for 3 cars.

The villa is located in the central part of the Istria Peninsula, near the small town of Kanfanar. The old architecture of the town and surrounding villages is well preserved, and vineyards and olives dominate this area with warm Mediterranean climate. Kanfanar and its surrounding countryside is well known, not only for its historical and cultural legacy but for excellent wine and genuine Istrian cuisine. Istria is a unique and enchanted place that has welcomed visitors and settlers from all parts of the world for as long as we have recorded history. The city of Pula with its Roman amphitheater and Brijuni national park with an 18-hole golf course are just a 20-minute drive away. Great restaurants, taverns, wine-cellars are all around the Villa. It is a great place to enjoy the food, wine, history and, after all, to relax.

Das Haus ist sehr idyllisch mit großzügigem Garten und wunderschönem Pool. Alles sehr sauber und genau wie beschrieben. Bäder sind adäquat wie beschrieben und sauber. Einzig der Wasserdruck wie üblich in so alten Häusern sehr gering was bei Schönwetter im Sommer ohnehin Nebensache ist. Rovinj ist sehr gut erreichbar mit tollen Supermärkten und schönen Ständen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen, speziell für Familien mit Kindern.

Das Haus ist so wie es beschrieben ist, riesiges Grundstück mit wenigen Nachbarn, großer sauberer Pool, Schlafzimmer wie beschrieben, Küche zweckmäßig und großer Wohnbereich. Leider haben nicht alle Schlafzimmer eine Klimaanlage und waren so durch uns nicht nutzbar (die Kinder haben bei uns und im Wohnzimmer geschlafen), teilweise haben Lampen nicht funktioniert und im Kühlschrank sind Ablagen beschädigt, alles nur Kleinigkeiten, aber nervig. Auch könnten es mehr Gläser und Besteck sein, ist genau abgezählt, Biergläser gibt es gar nicht. Sonst waren wir sehr zufrieden, man ist wirklich weit weg von allem und kann die Seele baumeln lassen. Gerne wieder, aber dann bitte mit Klima in allen Schlafräumen.

Das Haus liegt auf einem sehr schönen und sehr großen Grundstück. Der Pool ist ziemlich groß und liegt in einer abgeschirmten Ecke. Da das Gebäude schon über 90 Jahre alt ist und es früher als Wohnhaus genutzt wurde, ist es innen natürlich nicht modern und neu. Da muss man Abstriche machen, es gibt auch niedrige Türdurchgänge und knarrende Dielen. Kleine Fenster und zweckmäßige Bäder. Aber das Haus ist trotzdem sehr schön und bietet viele Möglichkeiten (Kicker, Boccia, Pool, Schaukel). Die drei Klimaanlagen reichen im Sommer aber nicht aus, um das Haus ordentlich zu kühlen, es ist einfach zu groß. Vor allem im Obergeschoß merkt man das. Der Gartenbereich ist fantastisch und von den Nachbarhäusern nicht einsehbar. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit 8 Personen und einem Hund dort, uns hat der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Man ist auch schnell mit dem Auto in Rovinj. Bis Pula ist es auch nur eine halbe Stunde Fahrt.
