We are very proud of our story. It all started back in 2008.
Three young air-force pilots brainstormed on how to help their relatives find guests for their newly built villa. So, over the years, with a lot of work, enthusiasm and love, My Istria was born. At first, we had only the one villa in our offer. Many years have passed and today, My Istria welcomes over 70.000 guests per year in more than 1.400 luxury villas in Croatia and it has become the market leader in villa rental in Croatia. We are supported by the best Croatian marketing and IT companies with a global reputation.

In 2022, My Istria became part of the Awaze Group, the largest managed vacation rentals and holiday resorts business in Europe, with over 100.000 properties across 29 countries, and welcoming six million guests each year..

We are a small office, made up of young people. Everyone is different, some of us too shy, some of us too talkative, some with weird hair, some with weird pets… so it is never sad or dull in our office. But we all have something in common- we all like our job and enjoy helping our guests in finding the perfect holiday home and spending a wonderful time at one of our villas. Although we have grown so much, we still look at My Istria as our little baby and take care of every guest and villa owner. This is what makes our team special.

Big international web sites have several intermediaries between them and the actual villa owners and no idea on what they are selling. Unlike them, we provide first-hand local information and support. Working directly with the villa owners, we are able to provide the best service.  All villas are personally inspected and photographed to ensure that they are up to standard and have accurate descriptions displayed on our website. We handpick only the best villas, as well as the nicest owners and villa hosts.
We too like to travel and to relax after having worked hard, so we are pretty competent to assist you in creating the perfect holiday experience. We will find the perfect villa for you and, hopefully, pass on some of our positive energy to you!
