The Brijuni Islands- Traces of the Dinosaurs

The footprints of ancient reptiles that walked on the island 130-100 million years ago have been found in four places so far. If you travel with your children, visit the Dinopark in Funtana - the first thematic show park in Croatia. You can learn more about it here: Dinopark Funtana

Hum - The smallest Town in the World
According to the legend, the city was founded when giants in the Mirna Valley created cities and finally built Hum from the remaining stones. Hum offers a beautiful view of the enchanting Mirna Valley. The "Biska" brandy is distilled in the only konoba in the town. Every year, on the last Sunday in October, there is a presentation and tasting of the products of many Istrian brandy producers. Even though the town has only about 30 inhabitants and is called the "smallest town in the world", it is a tourist attraction.

On October 18th, the capital city of Zagreb celebrates the World Tie Day with a series of public programmes and activities.
