The kitchen and dining area are designed as one open space. The eye-catcher of this room, which combines the modern interior of the kitchen with rustic elements, is surely the massive, wooden dining table. On the ground floor, you will also find one of the three double bedrooms, which has direct access to the garden. The two remaining double bedrooms are situated upstairs and offer balconies, from which you can catch sight of the sea. Besides double bedrooms, the villa also has one bedroom with two single beds on the upper floor. All of the villa’s bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom. While the villa is beautiful on the inside, that does not mean there is not plenty to offer outside as well. Actually, the large pool will motivate you to refresh yourself and swim a few lengths in it. After that, you can enjoy the sun while resting on the sun loungers right next to the pool. Additionally, you can use the opportunity to chill in the shaded lounge area on the terrace or on the hammock between two olive trees. Last but not least, as there is a grill available outside, you can prepare delicious Istrian meals there and enjoy them in the dining area outside. In Višnjan, a village near Poreč, you can take a walk through the old town and examine the historical heritage there. Locals will be eager to tell you legends about their home town - just ask them. In the surrounding area of Višnjan, you will come across traditional taverns, where you should definitely taste local specialities of the Istrian cuisine. Some taverns offer only their own agricultural product, which makes them fall under the category of agritourism. Do not forget to visit the famous astronomical observatory. Also, do not hesitate to visit two very popular spots on the Istrian coast - Poreč and Novigrad. Both invite you to spend a relaxing time on the beach as well as cosy evenings in the city centres.
Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen mit 7 Personen und einem Hund in der Villa Pietra verbracht. Ein schönes und sehr ruhig gelegenes Haus, in einem kleinen abgelegenen Ort bei Visnjan. Die Fotos entsprechen absolut der Realität. Der Pool ist super groß und sehr erfrischend. Wir haben ihn beheizen lassen und das war bei der Größe auch gut so. Im Haus war mehr als genug Geschirr vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Bäder an jedem Zimmer ebenfalls. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll. Der Ort Visnjan ist wundervoll. Supermärkte, eine tolle Pizzaria, ein Café und ein supertoller Bäcker rundeten unseren perfekten Urlaub in der Villa Pietra ab. Von Visnjan aus kommt man mit dem Auto super in jeden tollen istrischen Touristenort. Wir können außerdem die Konoba in Jadruhi sehr empfehlen. Die Kommunikation zum Eigentümer der Villa Pietra sowie zur Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort war absolut tadellos. Wir kommen gern wieder.
We’ve spent one week with my family and dog GS and had a great time. We regularly rent villas in Croatia and Italy and have to say that this one was one of the best ever. Markus is excellent and very responsive host, always trying to make your stay nice and enjoyable. Also location is great and very peaceful..We will definitely return.

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche mit der ganzen Familie (3 Generationen) in der Villa Pietra.
Es hat einfach alles gepasst, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Die Villa ist sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die großzügige Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet - auch mit einer guten Kaffeemaschine.
Jedes unserer 4 Zimmer hatte ein schönes eigenes Bad was bei unserer kleinen Gruppe sehr von Vorteil war.
Die Villa liegt sehr ruhig am Rande von Visnjan auf einer kleinen Anhöhe, von 2 Zimmern aus kann man sogar das Meer sehen. Die Außenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und vermittelt mit den 2 alten Olivenbäumchen und der Hängematte ein schönes mediterranes Flair. Alles ist großzügig angelegt so hat auch jeder Mal die Möglichkeit sich zurück zu ziehen.
Ein Highlight ist sicherlich der große Pool in dem man wirklich auch ein paar Züge schwimmen kann, er wurde von uns allen jeden Tag gerne genutzt. Aufgrund der Jahreszeit Anfang Juni haben wir ihn beheizen lassen was sich auf alle Fälle lohnt da man ihn dann auch oft nutzt.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer und auch der Verwalterin vor Ort war sehr gut. Wir werden wieder kommen.
