Peroj is a village not far from Fažana and Pula. It has been recognised as a summer resort since Roman times. Peroj is a quiet place ideal for family vacations away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to the cities with rich historical heritage. In the village itself you can visit the church of St. Stephen and the Orthodox Church of St. Spiridon, and a little further from the place is the church of Saint Foška, which is known as a protector against rheumatism, arthritis and headaches. From Peroj you can enjoy the view of Brijuni National Park. Peroj is known for the production of olive oil, so we definitely recommend tasting it.
Cultural sights and heritage fans should definitely visit Pula and Rovinj.
There is a promenade along the sea from Peroj to Pula, so you can get to Pula sightseeing with a leisurely walk. In Pula, you can, among other things, visit the famous Amphitheater, the Double Gate and the Church and Monastery of St. Francis. Rovinj is the blue pearl of the Adriatic, one of the most picturesque and romantic cities in the Mediterranean. In 1963, Rovinj was declared a cultural monument. In Rovinj, we recommend visiting the church of St. Euphemia, as well as its numerous galleries.
