Stunning villa with private pool in Central Istria
The stunningly beautiful villa Maccaroni with private pool is located in Central Istria and can accommodate up to 15 persons in 7 bedrooms. This 20 000 m2 property consists of two houses that are more than 150 years old and have been completely renovated.

The whole complex consists of a large countryside house, another smaller countryside house, a large separate covered terrace, a swimming pool and the surrounding olive groves, grasslands and little forests. This mesmerising property is very secluded, yet at the same time quite easy to reach. The last 2 km leading to the villa are a gravel path, which will transfer you from your everyday life into the wonderful and relaxing world of the Villa Maccaroni.
The living room in the larger house is located on the ground floor and is characterised by an open fireplace and rustic furniture combined with stone walls, which gives a special kind of atmosphere to the house. In the room next to it, you can enjoy a round of pool and have fun with your loved ones. There is a wonderful dining area connected to a kitchen on this floor as well, where you can surprise your loved ones and show off your cooking skills. When you climb up the stairs, you can make yourself comfortable in one of the 3 bedrooms equipped with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom. One of the bedrooms on this floor also features an additional single bed and another bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom is located on the second floor of the house.
The second house offers accommodation in 3 bedrooms with a double bed, one on the first floor and the other two on the second, and has 2 bathrooms, one on each floor. On the ground floor of the house, another living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen await you, which makes this house perfect for groups of guests consisting of two families.
Let all your senses loose and take a walk through the amazing outdoor area of the villa. Enjoy the lush greenery and the stunning view of the awe-inspiring mountain of Ucka. In the garden, there is a large covered terrace with a barbecue and table for 14 people, perfect for splendid summer dinners al fresco. For all sports fans, there are 2 football goals, table tennis, table football, and a volleyball net. Just because you’re on vacation, doesn’t mean that you have to forget all about staying fit. At the property, there is wonderful private swimming pool, just for your pleasure and enjoyment. Take a dip in the pool and catch a tan afterwards on one of the sun loungers.
This villa is perfectly located on 20.000 square meters of private land with first neighbours at 2 km from the property. Villa is located at the hilltop offering splendid views over surrounding hills and valleys. This property is ideal for people seeking complete privacy and tranquillity because the only thing disturbing birdsong is a nearby stream that passes by the villa. The closest restaurant and market can be found at 8 km from the Villa.

Wir waren mit unseren Freunden (12 Personen) im September 2023 in der Villa..
Aufgrund der Bilder hatten wir schon gewisse Erwartungen, die aber bei weitem übertroffen wurden.
Die beiden Häuser sind liebevoll eingerichtet, alles ist sehr sauber und die ganze Anlage akkurat gepflegt. Der Pool wird ständig gereinigt und ist einfach nur einladend und wurde entsprechend von uns frequentiert :-)
Der grosse Grill bietet die Gelegenheit alle möglichen Köstlichkeiten zuzubereiten und drinnen oder draußen in der Gruppe zu sich zu nehmen.
Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Wir haben jeden Abend daraußen auf der Terrasse einen Wein oder zwei zu uns genommen, die Atmosphäre ist einzigartig. Für erholungsbedürftige Gäste einfach ein Traum. Für Einkäufe ist die nächstgelegene Ortschaft aber in ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.
Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir nächstes Jahr wiederkommen. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon und planen für nächstes Jahr etwas mehr Aktivitäten und einen Ausflug mit dem Boot,.Vielen Dank an Mauro, seine Familie, Daniela und das gesamte Team für den tollen, freundlichen Service.

2 beautiful houses, kept in the old style, clean and tidy, located out in a forest in peace and quiet, nice big outdoor pool, nice big rooms, things worked well. A special star was Daniela who received us, and was very helpful when we wanted it, during the whole holiday, she was always just a sms away, Daniela has a wide local knowledge, which is important when you come from far away
We only have one negative thing to say, and it´s about the area around the house, it is 100% video monitored, there is not a spot outside where you are out of surveillance, The outdor places where you have dinner is monitored with surveillance camera pointing straight down at the table, it felt uncomfortable and we tried to get permission to cover at least 2 of the many cameras, but it was refused by the owner. We have decided that when we rent a house next time, it will be without surveillance.

I would like to give 4 1/2 stars. We were 4 families making 7 adults and 7 kids. There are 2 traditional comfortable rustic houses set in a stunning rural area. The grounds are well kept and sipping beers round the pool as the sun sets over the hills behind is truly a wonderful way to end the day (although do note the pool is made from a rough stone surface so games of waterpolo ended in some knee scrapes!).
Both villas are well stocked and the air conditioners are very effective for the common areas however we were there during 32+ temperatures and the bedrooms were incredibly uncomfortable at night. We bought fans, which did the trick, and the owner refunded us for that expense. The only reason for missing half a star is that some of the contents (towels and pillows in particular) need to be updated and the electrics in the kitchens are a bit dodgy and trip the fuse board quite often.
All in all a wonderful property, stunning location, with plenty to do (caving, cliff jumping, wild swimming, zip lining and wine tasting all very close by). Would certainly recommend.
Sensationelle Lage, fantastisches Haus. Wer Ruhe in einem tollen und authentischen Ambiente sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Hochwertige, rustikale Häuser auf einem riesigen und gepflegten Grundstück. Es hat für uns, 6 Erwachsene, 7 Kinder und 2 Hunde alles gepasst.

Die Villa ist fantastisch. Viel Platz, extrem sauber und alle notwendigen Dinge für einen perfekten Urlaub waren vorhanden. Wir (3 Familien) fahren seit über zehn Jahren gemeinsam zu Ostern auf Urlaub. Villa Maccaroni war das beste Quartier, obwohl wir schon tolle Häuser bewohnt haben. Viele interessante Orte leicht erreichbar.
Unsere Billardkenntnisse konnten wir erweitern, toller Grillplatz, schönes Pool. Leider noch etwas zu kalt. Können die Villa nur wärmstens empfehlen.
We stayed at Villa Maccaroni as a party of 11 for one week on August 2019. The Villa is perfect for a large party with places all around the grounds to socialise, eat, relax or even find some quiet time. The villa is spacious, quiet and set-in a wonderful open countryside space with a lovely views of the surrounding hills. The pool area is spacious with plenty of sun beds for a large party and the pool is equipped with a jacuzzi space which is fun. The whole complex is exceptionally well maintained and meticulously clean. There is an area for barbecuing in an open fire and plenty of space outside and inside to eat. Overall a fantastic place to stay. In the spirit of constructive feedback, one or two small points for consideration. The internet connection can be quite slow and frustrating. The rustic decor might not suit everybody. The space in the kitchen of the main house is quite cramped for a large group to prepare food together.. It would be useful to leave some cleaning products in the house rather than having to start from scratch on arrival.

Es war der Hammer!
Wir waren 4 Familien mit 7 Kids ( 15-21 Jahre) und wir haben einen super entspannten Urlaub in der Villa Maccaroni verbracht.
Mauro, unser Gastgeber und seine Mutter haben uns herzlich empfangen und wir haben tolle Tips und Empfehlungen bekommen. Das Anwesen ist riesig, top gepflegt, die Lage inmitten von grünen Wäldern mit herrlicher Aussicht. Die beiden Häuser waren top ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Es gab einen Tischkicker und einen Billardtisch, was natürlich perfekt war. Der Pool war ein Salzwasserpool, ohne Chlor. Sehr angenehm.
Wir können die Anlage nur weiterempfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder.
Es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub mit der ganzen Großfamilie. Ein großes Lob an Herrn Mauro und sein Team.
Es hat Alles super funktioniert. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, sogar noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Das Pool wird ständig kontrolliert und gepflegt, die Geräte funktionieren alle und es fehlt an nichts.
Wir können diese Anlage nur weiter empfehlen, wenn man ungestört und ohne Rummel im Familienkreis oder Freundeskreis urlauben möchte.

Am Ankunftstag wurden wir sehr herzlich von Fam. PRENC empfangen und erhielten umfangreiche Informationen bezüglich Ausflüge, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants.
Das gesamte Anwesen ist ein ganz außergewöhnlicher und wunderbarer Platz zum erholen und ausruhen - der Pool, die Außenanlagen mit den Blumen und den Olivenbäumen, die vielen verschiedenen steinernen Sitzgelegenheiten und der grüne Wald ringsherum waren einfach eine Wohltat für Körper und Seele. Die zwei Steinvillen sind überaus stilvoll, gemütlich und komfortabel eingerichtet, klimatisch herrlich kühl und waren außerordentlich sauber (so eine Sauberkeit haben wir noch nie in einem Ferienhaus vorgefunden), der vorhandene Grillplatz und die Küche im Haupthaus animierten uns abends oft zum gemeinsamen Kochen und das empfohlene Restaurant war ein absoluter kulinarischer Genuss. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Meer/Strandbesuche sind mit kurzer Autofahrt möglich - aber wir kehrten immer wieder sehr gerne in die Villa Maccaroni zurück um mit einem guten heimischen Wein den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen.
Für unsere 2 Hunde war das riesengroße Grundstück natürlich auch ein Paradies.
Wir hatten einen TRAUMURLAUB - an die Familie PRENC senden wir ein ganz, ganz großes und herzliches DANKESCHÖN für Ihre wohltuende Gastfreundschaft .
